We walked (slowly) from our hotel to where were picked up for our tour. It was just over half a mile so Gigi got her steps in.

So far, our tour has been great. Our driver has a great sense of humor. He is sarcastic and opinionated so he’s definitely my kind of person. Our first stop is along Loch Ness. Our driver said that it is a bathroom stop and our next stop isn’t for 2 hours. If we have to pee before then, we will have to pee the Scottish way, which is in a bush. Loch Ness is the biggest body of water in volume anywhere in the UK. He said that is 700+ feet deep.

Eilean Donan castle is on its own little island and it was fantastic. The family that owns it still lives in it occasionally. We got to walk through the castle and Gigi did great on the stairs – but chose not to go up the winding ones. Probably a very good choice. We got coffee before boarding the bus again and Gigi found that she had a faulty lid for her tea. It dribbles according to her. Mom thinks it’s strange that the distances listed on signs are in yards. We are on our way to the Isle of Skye now. We will be going over the Skye bridge and Gigi is in the window seat so she’s not looking forward to that.

We saw cows!! They call them “hairy coos” haha and we got to feed them carrots. I got to video call my boys (waking them up) and show them. Owen instructed me to pet their hair because he wanted to know if it was soft. They both agreed that I should bring one home. go check these adorable beasties out at #hectorshighlandcoos and see who I got to feed! We also stopped at a rumored spring of youth so I’m gonna be looking better than ever soon!
