Back of the Bus – Part 2

She used my seatbelt. Again. 😂 We stopped for lunch in Portree. It’s the biggest town on the Isle of Skye and it’s also the capital. It’s super cute and has a bunch of little shops lining the roads.

We made a couple of stops after Portree. The first was Old Man of Storr. It’s this giant piece of granite just chillin. Apparently it is hidden by clouds a lot of the time so we were happy to be able to see it. We also stopped at a waterfall and mom and I hiked up to the top of the path to get photos of the water and mainland Scotland in the background. There is a path down to the beach and mom said that if we had more time, she would’ve walked down to it. Gigi made it all the way out on the wooden walkway to get herself some photos of the waterfall. Mom and I weren’t sure she’d do it haha but she did!

Scotland has earthquakes! And a mountain that looks like a face if you turn your head sideways. Who would’ve thought?

We made it back to the hotel! Thankfully, there’s a restaurant inside the hotel so we just walked back and are eating before we go upstairs. It’s a restaurant that serves Indian and Oriental food (I don’t remember what it’s called and I’m literally sitting here in the restaurant) so I’ve gotten Indian food and Mom and Gigi went with Oriental. I am over 12,000 steps today! I don’t plan on taking too many more today though. Upstairs, shower, and then some homework in bed.
