We made it to Denver! I am not a morning person so 4am came wayyyyy too early. But Dad got us all loaded up and drove us to the airport. We all got through security just fine. Well, I got a little extra attention and a nice pat down but all in all it was a good experience.
We are now in Denver and our next flight doesn’t take off for two hours. Mom took Glen to meet Jamie so he’s safe and sound on his little adventure. Currently, Mom and I have traversed almost the entirety of Terminal B looking for food and coffee. Food for her, coffee for me. I ate a fantastic smothered burrito with Gram so all I need now is caffeine.
I got stuck on the moving walkway. I didn’t get my good foot down in time to help the front wheels of my wheelchair get over the little bump so I was at the end and my wheels were turning but I wasn’t going anywhere. Best part was that Mom was right behind me so, as she put it, I was trying to ‘eat’ her. She had to backpedal pretty quick until I got unstuck.
I get bored easily so moving around the airport has helped with that. But I need to do my knee exercises and all that so I will be sitting still for a least a while.
Talk to you in Newark!
