Hey!!! Morgan here. Sorry we haven’t updated since Denver. It’s been crazy.

We got through Customs and the car rental! Mom driving for the first time was interesting. We almost got stuck in the parking lot because we couldn’t figure out where the exit was. Seriously. Also, we saw SO MANY tractors on the roads!

But we got out and we made it to Belfast! The Titanic Museum was interesting but it felt really familiar. There was a really cool little ride that you sat in and it took you through some of the building process. I did not know that they had to hammer rivets in by hand!

We made it out of Belfast and to Carrick-A-Rede bridge. We walked some of the way up to the bridge but it was a LONG ways up there so we didn’t go the whole distance.
After Carrick-A-Rede, we made it to the Giants Causeway. We got checked into our hotel and found out that there was a shuttle that drove right down to the rocks! So we hopped onto the shuttle and away we went! It was beautiful and awe inspiring. I just wish I could’ve walked on the rocks out to the ocean. Possibly on my next visit?

I was asleep by 8pm. Traveling is exhausting. But I knew we had to be up early today so I was getting as much sleep as possible.
Today. We were up at 5am. The drive to Tullamore was interesting and filled with lots of twists and turns. But getting to tour the distillery was amazing. And I’m bringing home a few bottles for my awesome husband.

Athlone Castle was our first castle tour and it was fun! There were interactive parts sooooo of course we had a blast.

The Cliffs of Moher… awe inspiring. Magnificent. And not fun on crutches when a storm blows in and you’re way up by the edge and have a bunch of stairs/paths to go down. But in all seriousness, it was amazing.

We are bedded down in Ennis tonight. When we got here, Mom hit the hot tub, Gram went for food, and I took a bath haha.
Random things we have learned.
Google Maps will make you go in a circle in a round-about twice if you aren’t paying attention and trying to change routes.
Apparently, in certain hotels, to get your hotel room electricity to work, you have to insert a key card.

Asking for a bag of ice for a bum knee can earn you lots of weird stares while walking through the lobby with it.

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading!
